Charleston and Summerville, SC- The month of September ushers in the official start of autumn. By the end of the month, the summertime heat and humidity slowly give way to cooler mornings and evenings, bringing with them a slight fall crispness in the air. While it might be hot outside now, it won’t be long before the temperature starts dropping and long summer days turn to cool winter nights.
For many in South Carolina, the end of summer means more than just less trips to the swimming pool, it means cold mornings at the bus-stop and having to bundle up to keep warm. Unfortunately, many in South Carolina will face this winter without a coat to keep them warm. That is why we are asking you to help us make a difference.
This year, the South Carolina Chiropractic Association will be accepting donations of new and lightly worn coats to help clothe the less fortunate in South Carolina. In addition to coats, we are also collecting unwrapped children’s toys to be distributed to underprivileged children in South Carolina.
Donations of lightly worn coats and unwrapped children’s toys will be collected until November 15 and can be dropped off at Whiplash Pain Center located at 1300 Savannah Highway #6 Charleston and Summerville, SC 29407.
If you would like more information about how you can get involved or if you would like additional details in regards to drop off locations, please visit our website at aschelpsme.com or call our office at (843) 350-5022. With your help, we can help make someone’s life a little warmer this winter
